Faced with the spread of the new Delta variant in recent days, the Government wanted to extend the application of the Health Pass to all public buildings accommodating more than 50 people on the entire site, including outdoor ones (golf courses) .
Therefore, the Health Pass applies for any adult entering the golf course (excluding volunteers and people working in the golf course), including if this person goes directly to the driving range or to the tee without going through the Club House.
As a reminder, the "health pass" consists of the digital presentation (via the TousAntiCovid application) or paper, of a health proof, among the following three:
- Vaccination with a complete vaccination schedule (2 doses)
- Proof of a negative test (RT-PCR or antigen) of less than 48 hours
- The result of a positive RT-PCR or antigen test attesting to recovery from Covid-19.
If the Health Pass is not presented, access to the golf course must be refused.
Regarding the vaccination schedule for all professionals, the bill was sent yesterday to the Council of State. While waiting for the next voted measures, we are sharing for your information an explicit article on this subject.
Given the very short deadline for setting up the Health Pass, the Public Authorities will be flexible over the next few days for the implementation of the application within your structures.
At the same time, a message is sent to all licensed players on the obligation to present a health pass to access the golf facilities.
Faced with the evolution of the current health situation and the progression of this new variant, we invite you to be extra vigilant for the correct application of barrier gestures. The golf health protocol of June 30 and its appendix competitions and animations are still in force without modification. (Annexes available at the Golf reception.
Depending on the evolution of the health situation in the territories, the Local Authorities may be required to take additional measures in the coming weeks.
We will keep you informed of any new measures that may be necessary due to changes in the health situation and future government decisions.
Please be assured of our support.
